Executive summary
A neutral service that reviews solar quotes can sell into a market where prices are hard to judge, even though the home side is shrinking.
There's a real buyer problem here. Finanztip tested comparable German solar quotes and found they differed by up to 80 percent. On a typical 10 kWp system with storage, that's a gap of up to roughly EUR 8,000 between installers (est.).
This isn't a generic solar lead-gen site. It's a paid second opinion: you re-check the yield, equipment, warranty, financing, and payback against the buyer's actual tariff and their country's rules.
The risk is that free watchdogs and comparison tools already exist. So the paid version has to be clearly deeper and faster than a checklist, and it has to win before the buyer signs.
- The home rooftop market shrank hard in 2024. Rooftop installs dropped to about 1.0 GW, and its share of the market fell from 28 percent to 20 percent.
- In the Netherlands, the payback math changes a lot when salderingsregeling ends on 1 January 2027.
- AI can read the quote PDFs and re-run the numbers cheaply enough that a solo founder can charge one flat fee per review.

Questions, answered
What do I get after I upload a quote?
A written second opinion that stress-tests the yield estimate, the bill of materials, the warranty and financing terms, and the payback under your actual tariff. It arrives in a couple of days, not as a sales call.
Why pay for this if free checklists exist?
Free tools like Verbraucherzentrale checklists and comparison portals are a good starting point, but this service is meant to go deeper on your exact proposal. The value is the quote-specific technical review and country-rule payback math.
How do you stay neutral?
The model is built around a strictly neutral review with no installer referral kickbacks. That neutrality is the core asset, along with transparent country-specific rule handling and scenario recomputation.
